Who is "The Leader" in Opposing Obama?

I'm sorry, but it was during the 2008 presidential campaign, that Ron Paul inspired the tea party. It was his grass-roots that took to that identity after Barack Obama became president. My only regret is that it (the movement) didn't start earlier (like three presidents earlier).
Now you see MSM and the neocons trying to hijack the movement while demonizing it at the same time. But no matter what we are called, rednecks, racists, extremists, we will continue to rise up to retake this great nation. Our hearts will not let us do anything else...

Well said!!!

Palin is a losing ticket, no matter who she runs with. The negatives outweigh any positives that she can bring.

Besides, I think she's just in it for the money at this point.

Now that hurt.

Basically I am of the opinion that Obama has some great ideas especially regarding the health insurance in the US. I think that it is about time to change something because other countries already have good health insurance system and why should the US be one step behind the others.

My niece is in Greece now for a college semester and part of her assignment there is interviewing locals about issues. I'll ask her if she can start asking about how they like their health care system.

Romney and Condi Rice. She said she wouldn't run, but she'd get the votes.

We need Switzerland's healthcare system.

Newt might make a good VP to have someone with some brains, experience, and strategy nearby.

It would be different anyway. Right now you have an articulate president who says something and then his VP goes out and says something really stupid that the prez has to explain away. Newt could reverse that and add a few brain cells where a president or presidential candidate fluffs up a little. Anyway, as stated, I am not Al. I am not interested in just seeing who wins. I like to see a campaign where the issues get worked, not a bunch of palin and obama Dancing with Stars crap. Throw Ron Paul and Kucinich in to the debate too.

That's fine. Well, maybe Kucinich's wife anyway. I can be flexible there.

Pelosi would not have outgunned the Republicans last January if Newt had been in the House. He had her number right from the get go when they scheduled that little pow-wow as any *** would have, but I digress.
That has to be Boehner's biggest boner right there.

I've said it once and I'll say it again....no one will work out the issues "for real" because they're afraid that their lucrative political career could come to an end because of it.

Another problem we have is labeling everyone as a flipflopper if they change their minds. Hell, I want people to change their minds. You can't be right the first time every time and I respect people who change their opinions and stances based on new information that is available. That, however, means we need someone SMART that won't fall for everything that "sounds" good.

(OK, off the soapbox)
