Who Sells Individul Dental?

I'm more confused than ever.. Who's a good imo for uct and whats the commission on it? how do we contract with security? Nobodys really answered the question of do most dentists file the claims for you with plans like medico an uct? If they don't it will be tons of paper work and not worth it. Also whats the commission on plans like careington?

Commission depends on the state you're in. They'll file Medico's. Go on some IMO's sites and you can see if they carry who you want. What state are you in?

I will tell you Aetna & carrington work great. I've used the Aetna and did save 48% on my root canal. A lot of my clients have also liked the carrington 500. That being said I'm not a fan of Medico or plans like it. As the years go buy they pay more but look out for the big rate increase. If they still insist on having dental I will sell them a UCT or a Delta but warn them I would go with a discount plan.

Keep it simple sell a discount plan it's cheap and you won't have pissed off clients mad at you. That being said you don't make sh*t on them. I only sell them if somebody ask me for dental. Just make sure they understand it's a discount plan and that's it.

From my personal experience, I've been saving 40% and higher with Ameriplan. I haven't had a root canal since being with them. However, the last time I had one several years ago I paid almost $3,000 and looking at the fee schedule for Ameriplan in my area it would be $365 for an anterior and doesn't include final restoration.

I have also experienced what SamIam is saying, my clients are not ticked off and understand it's a discount plan. Commissions are 120% up front and 40% residual for Ameriplan. Send me a private message if there are questions specific to it.

This is a great example: Assurant's dental pays $365 for a root canal so coupled with a discount plan and it is a good match.

One thing about Dental, you advertise a cheap plan (via road signs, banners, etc.) and your phone will ring. The trick is after you get them the dental info you gotta find a way to sell them something else that pays a decent commission.

QUESTION: How does one become contracted to offer Aetna Dental Access?

I have Careington already, thought it'd be good to have Aetna as well.

A link with brochures about the Assurant/Careington plan:

careington.com/assurant/index.aspx (You have to put in the http://www. before this ... I'm not sure if this is all right to post here or not? The forum wouldn't take the link so maybe this will work and maybe it will not.)

I would sell dental insurance again in a heartbeat if, I don't know, healthcare.gov would create a program to sell dental insurance - with no one year wait for major services - to people in inner city St. Louis & Chicago who have an appointment with their dentist in two days to have all their upper teeth pulled and be fitted for a partial denture. And that offers a subsidy, of course. And it would be great if it covered braces, too - for their 26 year old kid who lives at home.

Individual Dental Insurance is available to individuals and families that are not covered on group dental insurance. For people without dental insurance, cost often stands in the way of getting the care they need to maintain the health of their teeth and gums.Lionshare insurance group sells the best Individual Dental insurance policy.
