Mmmmmmmmm.............I didn't see the word "agent" in the entire article

lol well the NY Times isn't going to try and promote agents; that would make them seem too "pro-business" which would ruin their reputation.

I just meant the experiences in the article is an example of why people should talk to agents instead of trying to do everything themselves
 
Whitehouse.gov people think agents are getting paid too much for their services. :o

Good article. Good point. Also the navigators provide consumers with lists of FFM certified agents. The agents do more than just navigate, they are financial consultants as well. You should fact find and help your clients determine what plan they can afford. You should build a relationship with your clients that lasts years not moments. The navigators don't build relationships. Their job is to disseminate information to as many people as possible in as little time as possible with as little effort as possible.
