Single payer (Medicare for all) advocates always claim getting rid of the insurance company's will save tons but was always told medicare contracts the insurance company's process all the Medicare claims not just the supplement part. The single-payer advocates never mention it. That being said if the insurance carriers do process all the claims how come they don't do a better catching all the Medicare fraud?

Not always carriers. Some TPA's involved as well.

Medicare claim fraud is not their responsibility. They are not paid to tag and investigate fraud. Only to adjudicate and pay claims.
