I would think it would be required if there are so many employee's just like with any business and if the employee's are full time staff. It's very common in Tennessee for a household to employee a farm hand however farmers aren't required to have work comp in the state although I always suggest it. I myself endorsed my homeowners policy for "residence employee's" for landscaper and cleaning lady.
