First of all, it's worker's compensation. And yes (with one exception that I know of), you need a P&C license to sell P&C policies.

workman's comp is also used for worker's compensation.Both are correct.
Once you get licensed, start working with an agency so you lcan get access to different markets.WC commission is usually 6 to 10 percent.
