I am really surprised that you have not received any responses to this. All the Allstate agents must be busy retaining customers.

I have worked with a few and they are all different. Those who have the relationships and respect to make things happen are great.

They're enforcement of the corporate culture. Essentially if you're not hitting numbers on your own, you wont get any further help from them. That's how I felt as a captive and I ended up going indy. Haven't gotten extra help getting leads as I was in Allstate, but with a lot more carriers to quote from in the indy channel.
