Your Favorite Med Sup Company

I'm just curious about something. I know there's lots of agents on this site who sell Medicare Supplements with lots of years of experience. I'm looking to add a few more companies to my portfolio. Could you post what your favorite company is to use and why.

Thanks,

Mark

Your question cannot be answered unless you specify which state(s) you work. The company I love in CA might not be available or could suck in Michigan.

I'm in the State of Michigan. I'd be willing to check each company to see if they sell in MI.

Thanks,

Mark

The best and easiest way to find out may be to contact your DOI.

In Missouri the DOI will send me a list of all companies selling Med Supps and their premiums.

As Rick said, the "best" company is going to vary from state to state. In Missouri I really like National States.

You can get the list instantly on most DOI sites, with the premium each company charges for their different plans.

I'm a Michigan agent. Blue Cross doesn't allow anyone to sell their Med supp. It's all mailed out - no agents allowed. It's kind of hard to get the app.

You can sell their MAPD, PDP and HMO.

AARP, United of Omaha, UCT, Loyal American and American National all have pretty good rates.

Here's the link to the DOI that lists all of the companies. Don't get to excited about Golden State. Their Plan C Medicare supp runs $50 a month but you have to be amish to get it. Can't get any of my clients to give up electricity

What has been National States increases over the last few years in Missouri? They just came out with a product in SC that actually beats Mutual's female 65 Plan F rate. The lady said they have some of the most liberal underwriting. What is your opinion of them? Can you put me in contact with someone who has the National States contract?
