Your Favorite Med Sup Company

What has been National States increases over the last few years in Missouri? They just came out with a product in SC that actually beats Mutual's female 65 Plan F rate. The lady said they have some of the most liberal underwriting. What is your opinion of them? Can you put me in contact with someone who has the National States contract?

I have only been with them for about six months. However, the agent who recommended them to me has been with them for around fifteen years said they have had very few and small increases.

I would not call their underwriting "liberal" but that is not a bad thing. They do a pretty detailed telephone interview and from an agents standpoint I perceive that as a positive as opposed to a negative.

In my experience companies who have more strict underwriting are usually the ones who have the fewest and smallest increases. Healthier people have fewer claims and fewer claims translate to fewer and smaller increases. This is one of the things I look for in a company when licensing with them.

In Missouri I was able to license direct with them. I suggest you give them a call and see if you are able to do the same.
