10 Apps per week...

questions

How many internet leads to u buy per week

and what is your conversion to sale ratio?

It depends on the source... I use multiple... but I buy quite a few...

When I was working PZ leads, I was buying 100-125 per week, but we all know what the quality is like there...

If you buy 50 leads a week 20% bad and recredited so for a total of 60 a week. You should write 5 a week 1/12 total lead conversion, double those figures buy 100 leads or 120 with credits and you will do 10 apps a week consistently

The biggest thing is followup to maintain system I use avidian prophet and run 25 leads a day. with 1/10 conversion. Write 40-60K consistently.

How much is Prophet and is it easy to implement... At this point, I have a lot slipping through the cracks. I'm sure I could pick up at least another app every couple of weeks by being more organized

used to use act switched to avidian prophet because it is integrated into outlook. about 400.00 for premium versions with sales automation and workflow

I strongly agree.

Over half of my sales come from leads over a month old. A good chunk, maybe 25% are at least several months old. Sealing those cracks will put money in your pocket. Sealing those cracks can mean the difference between buying this house or that house.

A lot of people will request quotes long before they are ready to take action. If you stay in touch, they will be more likely to buy from you as opposed to doing another Google search and contacting another agent.

I have programming that handles my drip marketing and dynamically generates telemarketing lists. Unfortunately my system is not for sale because it isn't very portable, but something like this will help most agencies.

I think that Norvax has some drip marketing programming built into their quoting system. I've never had a reason to look into it, but if you are already using Norvax, take advantage of the drip marketing and consider supplementing it with direct mail and/or telemarketing to your old leads.

What do u use as ur quote engine?

It is actually an engine or is it a quote request form

It is a quote engine. It generates about 35 different quotes and makes recommendations in three deductible ranges.

I can't make it available to other agents because the policies and rates change too frequently. The work I do for my agency would only be valuable to my direct competitors in Connecticut and be useless to agents in other states.

Norvax does enough volume that I'm sure they get special treatment from the various insurance companies. They probably get rate updates in XML or some other format that they can pop into their system easily. That is not the case for us. Somebody in my office has to type the changes into Excel and then I have to put that into a MySql database.

I created the quote engine a couple of years ago because I couldn't afford the Norvax system. Now that I've done it myself, the price for their system seems reasonable.

I don’t think that you could hire a programmer to create and maintain a quote engine at a lower price since is needs to be updated so frequently.

There are advantages to creating your own. You can brand it better and you can customize it and integrate the system into other systems you may have. I like programming, so it has that additional advantage for me.
