Supposed to be by Monday....but really, no one knows for sure.
I thought ruling Monday said carriers had to have commission schedules in by 14th to use non-captive agents. Could be wrong, but think that's what I read.

Tina, I think you are right... I'll look it up.
This is what it says on p. 23
"MA and PDP organizations must distribute
their rates by November 15, 2008 to agents, brokers, and
other third parties under contract to sell Medicare
Advantage and Part D plans."
Then goes on to say on p. 24 that none of these new rules apply to the carrier's captive agents.
I took it to mean, if they don't have their commission schedule out, the carrier can't use brokers to sell....there were others talking about it in a different thread too.
YES! I remember reading that... Thank you for posting this. (I have a mind like a steel trap... only rusty.)
Glad I could finally be of help on the board instead of just asking for help
Now the question is, what does Nov 15th mean? Did they have until midnight before the 15th started (Nov 14th 11:59p) or do they have until the end of the day, Nov 15th, 11:59p. CMS never specified
THEY'RE IN!!! I just went to pick up my wife from work and returned to check my email, and UHC and Coventry have posted their 2009 CMS approved rates. AND WOW! They went UP! Really good news!!!!
I didn't get any info from Coventry. I suppose that's because of the Parker stuff. I did just get an email from UHC. I'm not selling for them anymore, but, they sent it anyway.
The commissions here did not go up. It's $400 for PFFS and $200 renewals. They were paying $400 here for '08. Now they will pay $200 and maybe another $200 somewhere down the road for an imaculate enrollment.
YUP! UHC is $400/$200 and Coventry is $550/$275... but what is so sweet is Humana is $320/$160! Don 'cha just luv it?
