I came across this and talked to the guy. This is going to be real good for everyone who does Medicare Advantage plans. This should help us all get paid a lot more.

For all your clients who need a power chair, or look like they can benefit from a power chair (they can even have high blood pressure!). I'm looking for all types of agents, not to change anything on their clients, but throw in a free power chair whenever it is neccessary and make a extra couple hundred dollars. You dont even have to have a license. Please e mail me or call me at 832-661-6514. Ron Walter
Thanks.

Yea right. You are going to, at your own expense even if it is not first approved by Medicare and ordered by a doctor, just give away a power chair and pay the agent $200.

I know, you are going to say "I said whenever it is necessary (the correct spelling).

Since you brought it up I'm sure you would not mind explaining to us what you mean by "necessary" and the instances when a power chair would be "given" to an agent's clients and when it would not be approved.

Sounds like the guy who wanted agents to "place" the testing kits. Ask Ramiz about that one. I think he is still waiting to get paid.

If you have a legitimate offer I would suggest that you put it in the "Offers" section instead of posting here and pretending that you know what CMS is going to do just to pitch your "snake oil".

I received this just yesterday (10/27/08) from a "big wig" with Humana's MA plans (below)

Does anyone else see the writing on the wall with Medicare Advantage?? Obama has already said he intends to immediately, if elected God forbid, (and with the help of a Democratic congress will easily accomplish) eliminate the federal "subsidy to HMO's" that allows for Medicare Advantage.

"

Attn: All MA Agents
Once again, we are facing uncertainty in the compensation that agents will receive for 2009 MA plans. Congress has pressured CMS to rescind its October 8th Commission Guidance, so we do not know what commissions will be paid during the 2009 MA selling season for any of the MA health plans. CMS is expected to issue new regulatory guidelines before the end of the month. For additional details please click on the link below (press ctrl + click on link).
Medicare officials to review insurers' commissions
We will keep you posted of any additional changes."
