2yr ROP or AARP?

AARP has had a WL plan I would say for at least 2 year or more, but their rates are typically higher than those offered by companies like RNA, Oxford life etc.

So I don't think anybody will have to worry about or lose any sleep over their WL plans anytime soon!

They haven't had it that long. They have had their "permanent" plan that many called a whole life. The new plan is not available everywhere yet.

I've ran into three AARP while life policies. 3 different houses, all the policies were 2500 "permanent"policies. None of them said whole life. Just curious as to why all 3 different customers had the same small face amount. Also why the policies don't say whole life. I think it was section 16....could be wrong but the policies still stated that the premiums were not guaranteed and COULD change....

Even the new one doesn't say whole life. It has their "permanent" tag on it. Now you are going to have to have to have to see the policy. The old permanent, and I guess it's still available?, will say that the rates are not guaranteed. The new one says that rates will never increase for any reason.

The old is priced pretty well and the not guaranteed premiums are the reason you can replace it. The new one priced really high for non smokers and not too bad for smokers.
