$3,000+ E & O for Start Up?

I just got my e&o and it cost me $4500 from Colony. It is not cheap, but I needed it.

I ended up paying $2018 for $1m/$1m (both P & C and L & H)....have not had any problems with any carriers.
Would you please post the details?

What is your experience level with P and C and Life Etc?
What company is the E and O from and who was the MGA?

Thanks...

I'd like to know the details to Georgia.

Thanks

You may not care, but what was the deductible at the $2000 level? Also, does it include securities?

Less than I pay now...

These prices being bandied about are seriously going to vary.

1. What state

2. How many years ins exp on your resume

3. Life/Health & P&C or just one of the other

4. How many years licensed

5. Estimates SALES

6. How much Life/Health vs. P&C

An agent with 10 yrs license and P&C ONLY starting his own shop in Idaho, with no known losses will pay LESS than a new guy with no prior license or experience in California doing both LH/P&C.

Rockwoods min prem in CA for newbie agents is $7500!

If youve got some experience - PACO seems comeptitive

New - Newer guys doing both disciplines? Colony seems the ticket.

These guys at Boswell Ins seem to have some sort of a program too but you can never get a straight answer and the guy running the UW show [ Mr Happy ] isnt eager to get your deals done. They have a Lloyds option and some other stuff.

Ive spoken to the IBAWest [ Big I Program - west coast ] - as I recall it was a zurich program - and newbs were not allowed in.

Anyone have some info regarding E&O for Florida? Would I still go with Colony as an option for a newbie with no prior experience and new car smell?
