56yr Old Female Type II Insulin Diabetic, Currently on Dialysis

Yep. Between those 2, I'd go with Great Western. They pay better FYC, pay renewals and have a better chargeback policy. Gerber's cheaper though. Actually, it doesn't look like Great Western's in California, so it's Gerber. NGL and Columbian Life are there, but the premium's about double. of what Gerber is.

Awesome - thanks for all of the info! I'm assuming that since Gerber is GI, they will not deny her coverage, so long as she's OK with the premiums?

Lastly, where would be the best company to send this through for the max comp? I'm a little minion in the FE game, but have a book of about 4k clients who may need FEX in the future. Thanks!

Yes, Gerber will issue with no health questions.

Oxford, Equitable(not in California), Foresters and Sentinel Security have the highest commissions of the companies in my bag. There're others that pay well. The companies that pay the highest commissions aren't always the one's you'll write. UW and ease of dealing with a company come into play. One of my favorite companies to use is American Continental, even though they have one of the lower FYC's.

OK... Thanks...Looks like They have a good product line up. Just curious, do have any problem getting people to accept a company whose name they can't even pronounce? :).. Looks like you would get a whole lot "Who is that" when you tell them what company you are recommending. I know that name doesn't wrap around my hillbilly tongue very easily.

KSKJ is pretty easy to say. A couple have asked what that means but that's about it. Most people I deal with love the fact that they are a christian fraternal.

Wrote a preacher this morning. He wanted to send in his baptismal certificate.

They have been very easy to work with. I didn't start writing them until July. I'm already qualifyed for their agent reward trip in Jan.

Now I see why you get so irritated with TA.

Ok, thanks - Just ran a quote for Gerber GI for $25k and it came out to $1,366.75/yr or $113.90/mo.

Due to the fact that I'm in CA, it looks like this will be my best option?

Thanks again for all of your help!

No problem.

I'm coming up with $92.81 a month for $25K.

Man, I really owe you for all of your help on this one. It turns out that Gerber is actual age and not age nearest, so she's actually 55 (birthday is in November), which makes the premium $88.23/mo.

Now, I just need to find out where to place this - Any ideas? It also looks like she's definitely capped with the $25k death benefit, due to her health...

What do you mean, where to place this? Aren't you contracted with Gerber?

If she can afford more you could write her with multiple companies. Columbian Life and NGL are also in California.
