6 Days Still No Power!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I have pix but these should tell the story, it's pretty bad, like the aftermath of a movie, and these don't show the next day or the boardwalk which pieces were up to 8 blocks away, it was crazy, cars floated away crashing into things, houses destroyed, yes a P & C nightmare and dream.

All of Long beach was covered in 4 feet of water, no roads or sidewalks, water.

Just got power back on Monday!

Hey Rob. I hope that you're recovering as well as can be expected....I have a good friend who lives in Long Beach and he describes a pretty awful situation.

I just arrived on Staten Island last night and seeing the destruction live is pretty shocking. Boats in the streets, homes destroyed, people just overwhelmed....unreal.

Rob, just looking at those pics. I've been through many hurricanes and all I can say is WOW! I've never seen it that bad or near that bad.

I've seen film clips of 1969's Hurricane Camille, in Biloxi. That was terrible. Not sure which was worse, but either way it's devistating to say the very least.

I just cant image going through all this. The longest I ever went without power was about 2 days and I thought I would die.

My prayers goes out to anyone having to go through all of this.
