What is the best I can do for this gentleman for 10-15k of coverage? Is graded premium basically his only option?

Thanks for any suggestions and companies you would recommend.

GMP will take this graded according to their app......any stroke, heart attack or heart surgeries, cancer, COPD without oxygen or kidney or liver diseases in the last 24mos are graded. CHF, oxygen or ALS are ROP.

$190- 10k
$283- 15k

Didnt say it was cheap at that age, but its graded!

Yes, you are reading the app correctly as they will issue Graded coverage (30-70-100%) on quad by-pass 4 months ago, or 4 days ago for that matter, as long as disch from hospital. I realize that it is just a typo TDF, but for those that aren't aware of the company, it is GPM Life (as opposed to GMP).

Oh ok, sounds like u use them? Do u like them? What's the pros & cons, thinking about adding them, esp with that child rider they have.

I don't like how they call & do a PHI at a later date tho.

After 6 months, Silver II with Settlers would be an option for level benefit coverage. I's about the same price as Kemper's GI but it's immediate death benefit.

I do like them and have seen no real negative yet. They do a great job all the way around. The PHI being delayed does allow that part of the process to be out of your control, and if I could choose would prefer to do the PHI on the spot, but then again they didn't ask for my input. It is obvious why they do so and based on the other positive trade off's, I can live with it. I have had a handful of them that was sure there would be an issue with the PHI, but to my surprise they all sailed right thru; [so far]. Very accomodating home office and the rates are usually top of the heap for immediate covg for most n/s cases.
