Try AmAm ROP plan or Americo's Ultra III or UHL's GI. I would look at AmAm 1st cause for over 65 its only 2yrs ROP, the other 2 are 3yrs!!

Hope that helps!!

...Or wait until he's 12 months in and look into Monumental's Standard Immediate coverage, assuming he has no other heart issues like CHF, doesn't take insulin, and doesn't have lung diseases (COPD, emphysema).

His best bet if he want a policy now is MoO or a preneed. Or, as suggested, wait until it's been a year and go with Monumental as long as there are not other problems.

You guys would really wait & not make a sale now?? I can see if u wanted to tell him about MoO, thats cool, but I dont think its unethical if u sold him a ROP policy....but to wait, REALLY??

I know all about doing right & being honest & whats best for the client....and I agree 100%, but waiting?? WoW

If that would be his best option, absolutely. If he can qualify in 6 month for level coverage he would be well served to wait. If takes an ROP policy and dies in that 6 months the beneficiary is only going to get what he paid. Might as well hold on to the money himself.

If it looks like he might not not qualify in 6 months anyway, go ahead and refer to MoO or the preneed.

I can see telling the client what options he has or what options may become available, but to actually suggest to the client that they should wait, ummm, no!

If the client chooses to wait, that's one thing. To suggest that he wait, I would think, would open you up to some liability. If I were the client and the agent told me I should wait another 6 months I would ask the agent if he was prepared to pay my funeral bill should something happen to me!

Agreed. Let the client make up their own mind.

No company would pay the funeral bill during that 6 months. But, I agree, I would lay out the options and let him believe he decided.
