That's a bummer, but probably helped surface the need in a more immediate way. I hope you were able to sell them. What's your persistency rate? I don't care what area I'm in ( black white, red. Man I woulda told him to go to hell and that he had no probable cause to search my vehicle. Last three run in with the cops they let me go cause of my Ron Paul and Alex Jones bumperstickers.

Go infowarrior! That was exactly what I was thinking as I read his story. Those cops had no reason to search.

Not to get this thread off on a whole different track, but, you guys live a sheltered life.

Now you guys may have been able to go all "my rights, my lawyer" on these cops but one of the locals would have had road rash from "resisting arrest"

I take my chances. If they have no right to search me then the only way they are going to get it is to go that route. I just hope they are strong enough to lift me, over 300lbs.

Dude get real..if you say no you can't search my car guess what? They radio for a canine unit to come out they hold you up for hours and If you get a bad cop he might drop something on you for the dog to smell and then get a judge to authorize a full blown search. They have trustees at the jail that will work you over if they give the word.....just don't mess with them.

That is fine if they want to get a dog. I just will not allow a cop with a hard on to think he will violate my rights. If you want to do that more power to you, but that is not how I would do it. And the officers don't have that much pull in jail where they tell inmates to "work people over", if they want you that bad they do it themselves. Inmates don't respect officers enough to do that. But happy the OP got out of his ticket seat belt tickets are not cheap anymore.

You're crazy if you don't think there are inmates who have sold their soul to the guards. Guards are probably the biggest source of contraband in most jails. You want drugs, make nice with the guards.

I was at the local trailer park prepper's house the other day. Sold 2 policies partly cause I talked guns with him for 15-20 min. It was awesome. He showed his AR15s, shotguns dozens of handguns. As I looked around I noticed ammo stacked as far as the eye could see.

Anyway, I made mention that I'm still waiting for my LTCH. He recommended I carry open on my hip lol. I told him I wasn't sure if that would go over well with most clients. He disagreed. I didn't argue with him, but it does make me wonder lol.
