A Guy in a Wheelchair...age 36

Is it snowing? 1/2 the winter, that damn 5 Frwy is closed up there

Tell Rick I said "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

No, but a little cool. Still 2 hours from home
I do not know how you road warriors do this every day. By the way, driving in So Cal sucks.

What state is he in?

Florida...same as me.

Cremation is about $1,000, at least in So Cal. Don't know why anyone would consider buying insurance for that.

Cremation is what he has planned, that's why he only wants about 2K.

Jerard -- contact Wino -- I think he has a cool little carrier that can help with odd-ball cases like these.

Other than that -- maybe UHL is worth a look?

Thanks. I called UHL they said 'no'. :nah:

I may have someone if you want to hit me up tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks. What company?

Call underwriting with Monumental and find out what underwriting requirements would be needed to support assistance with ADL's because of an accident rather than loss of ADL's because of an organic issue or disease.

Wanted to mention that I called them and they are a 'no' also. No wheelchairs regardless of the reason.

Also, contrary to what I've read on here I got through in less than 5 minutes and both people I spoke to (one an underwriter) were very nice. Maybe there's an Iowan festival today. :1smile:

United Heritage. Not a price leader But an easy app.

I had to call new business on one of my deals and asked an underwriter about yours. Maybe a go on full benefit, but the ADLs may push him into Graded (30/70/100). But the kicker is they do not do business in Florida. Sorry.

Awwww, rats. Thanks for asking them, I appreciate it. I'll keep looking.

I do not know if they are in FLORIDA, but Columbian MDO would write him. ROP Xs 2 years.

I found their site, yes, they're in FL. I'll call them in the morning. Funny thing....they have a debit side. I didn't think anyone collected in the home anymore other than United.

Jerard, I have a policy available for him. For $2,000 face amount it can up paid up in 3 years, 5 years, or 10 years. Monthly premiums are $38.88 for 3 years, $23.33 for 5 years, or $11.67 for 10 years. Death benefit equals ROP plus 42.8% until it's paid up.
