A Question for EFES Agents (past or Present)?

I'm just about to start my career in the FE biz & it's a little scary to sign up for leads right away, knowing it will be a constant cost every week. I'm thinking of going with some other sources and also buying some Bonus and/or Excess A leads off the EFES website for my area (they're plenty) to start off with on a part time basis.

Does any EFES agent have any experience with those leads or have any stories/advice?? Does the risk (getting totally beat up & losing confidence) out weight the reward (working hard and producing similar results) as fresh leads?? Pls help me decide if I should try this!

Thanks in advance!!

I thought the only reason people joined EFES was to be on the lead program.

I would highly suggest you do the initial 15, 25 or 40 lead purchase thing prior to setting up the ongoing weekly lead purchase, TDF. Use those to figure out if you like the system.

It depends. I never worked aged leads, but their could be some gold in them.

If there was a pro agent in your area prior, it may be tougher; don't know if you could find out for sure.

I'd give it a shot; it will give you the opportunity build your door-knocking skills.

It's gonna be based on the agent that those leads were mailed for the first time. If he/she was a good agent that knew how to work the leads they are going to be almost worthless. If they were pikers they will be just as good as any new lead you buy.

There have been a handful of EFES agents wash out in my area. I've gotten their old leads, treated just like they were new and did just about the same business with them as the new ones I get.

It's probably wise to not get on the EFES lead program getting leads every week until you learn something about the business. Get some to begin in the start up kit. Get on the plug and learn calls, go to the University and listen to all the presentation in the archives and stay in constant contact with your direct upline manager.

If you want to do FE as a fulltime job there is not a better system out there than the EFES system as long as you are willing to work.

That is advice from a very effective EFES agent.

Wise to do this first because with EFES you need to be consistent with your production in order to ensure that you get the leads you order. IF you have a bad couple weeks, you will likely see your lead deliveries decline. So you need to do your learning before getting on their weekly lead system.

I agree with this. My first few months were up and down and it wasn't until I bought some aged or older leads and went after it that I had real success. If a great agent was in your area before you, good luck with those leads, they will probably be worthless.

Ok, based on your response and others JD....it all boils down to who worked in my area before right? But Im not sure if I can find out if the last people were any good or not, I'll try. Also, none of u spoke of the Excess A leads which were NEVER assigned to anyone, there are some of those in my area & Bonus leads too.

Also, I wasnt aware u could get just an initial drop without a weekly sign up...I'll inquire about that, thanks guys!!

1. Is it true that we do not have to sign up for weekly drops?

2. What then would the downside of joining EFES?

3. I am trying to find an old post, I believe I read someplace that you can have 2 commission rates with EFES (1 based on their leads and 1 based off self generated leads); am I remembering this incorrectly?
