I wish you luck. Insurance isn't brain surgery (as you pointed out), but there is some skill that you can only gain by being in the trenches.

I was beginning to think that brain surgery would actually be easier.
My goal is to gain as much knowledge as I can, build a sustainable book of business and retire in 10 years - comfortably.
Too bad I wasted the last 2 years and about $50k . . .
