Advanced Commissions Gone Wild - Chargebacks!!!

He should have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, instead of at the Harpersville Motel.

"Yogi Patel, one of the motel's owners, said Schrenker arrived about 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
....
He didn't stay long — just enough time to change his wet clothes and for the police to leave.
....
Meanwhile, Patel was a bit uncomfortable with the sudden notoriety his 17-room motor lodge was receiving.
"Too many of those," he said pointing to the trucks and cameras. "Look at these, ABC, CNN is here. They shouldn't be here. They should be out trying to catch him."

I just closed a 60K cash in hand in my office. Instead of avoiding the subject I brought it up, and we watched the video together on my computer. Thanks for the video RUSS. I have found that by addressing the very issues that has us concerned we can ease the mind of the person that we are doing business with. Would you not agree that is better that my client hear this from me as opposed from hearing it on the news or from a friend. Just my 2 cents worth I hope it helps.

You don't really mean *GREENBACKS* in hand, do you...?

I agree with your approach, when there is an obvious objection, it is best to address is head on. Defuse the explosives immediately.

NO.......LOL. Cash in hand (Check). Meaning that I do not have to process a 1035 exchange and wait until MAY to get the contract issued.............

I did run across an old farmer some time back that agreed to do a 100K CD annuity. While I was filling out the application I told him that I would need a check for the 100k and he told me that he did not have a checking account. He further stated that he did not believe in the banking system and that he would not do business with one. I tried for two hours to take him down to the bank to get a cashiers check and he refused. Finally I asked him how he planned on paying for the annuity and he told me CASH.

I told him OK, I will take your cash, now say that I am a crook and I stole all of your money.

What would you do now?

I then told him to get his money and that I would be out warming up the car. To this day he has been a good customer of mine.

Holy smokes... did you take the 100K cash into the bank, or what...? That would set off some bells and whistles today... Like an IRS Form 8300 which reports cash transactions of more than 10K...

FYI, "as earned" does NOT avoid - chargebacks! (duh)

As for advances/annualization, if you write good business, I'd rather have my money up front and put it to good use --

like buying my way into a poker tournament :twitchy:
