Aged Leads

The vendor should define it and give you a time frame of how old they are. To me anything over 30 days has become aged.

Got some aged leads awhile back.. Turned out they were 8 to 10 years old. Still wrote business using them...
Amen, brother! A lead is often just an aid to get a conversation started. With direction, some of those conversations lead to sales. The key is to have plenty of conversations. A stack of aged leads is great fuel for that.

Very cool of Ben.

Question - how do you open the conversation on and old lead like that?

You play a bit dumb, as if you don't know how old it is....

Hey Mr. Smith, I noticed a while back that you had requested some information about (whatever type of) insurance and I just wanted to follow up. I don't see in my notes that we ever finished that up and I just wanted to make sure you had all of your questions answered....

Odds are though, you can't legally call them. They probably don't use that same email and may not even live in the same place, so it could take a lot of 10 year old aged leads to do much.....

As long as they aren't on the DNC - they are fair game (unless MA / MAPD )
