Agent Arrested and Convicted for Selling an Annuity.

I told you that, when I read it! You just rehashed the same aguement. Since you have no money, I would try a local law school. And talk with a professor. Maybe you can find a poormans Dercherwitz. I will echo again, your best bet is inaffective, council. But it seems you don't want to hurt his feelings!

The ineffective council is already part of our brief.

Delimma?? I spoke to an attorney friend of mine today who has reviewed the initial brief. He feels it's "crap", and he feels were going to lose 0-3.He think's it holds "no weight". That it's very sloppy, and that the appelate judges wont give it it's due.]

How much did you spend with this attorney so far?

How much do you need to get to the 50K?

I can't believe a hot shot attorney who is itching for some notoriety wouldn't take this case pro bono.
Can you imagine the business it would create for his/her practice if he/she successfully defended?

Mark Geragos is that hotshot attorney who really wants the case. He's willing, however he wants to be paid.

I think they realize most agents will see the warning signs long before they get to this point. Not a big pool of clients there.

Also, defending an insurance agent against regulators doesn't exactly play well in the media. Particularly once they start labeling the agent as greedy and talking about being convicted of taking advantage of an elderly lady with dementia.

megadittoes, volagent.

"positive media exposure" is impossible to get in this case, therefore, no "hot shot attorney" will touch this case.

the only attorney who would take this case is someone who really needs the money and doesn't care about the bad press.

These hot shot attorneys willingly defend rapists and murderers and you're worried that they will get bad press defending an annuity salesman??????
