You know, I like thousand island dressing on California style burgers, but not on salad. When I was a kid I liked French dressing on pork chops (until I discovered BBQ sauce!), but not on salad. My salads want either blue cheese or vinaigrette, depending on what the main course is. (Or Italian, unless that's also cultural appropriation!)
(BTW, as a former Californian, but now Texan, is it ok that I still like In-N-Out burgers? Or is that also cultural appropriation?

In-N-Out is awesome but being from NY, I prefer Shake Shack.

Looks like my kind of food . . . I rarely go to that part of town for anything . . . too much traffic and parking is a challenge. I stay in the burbs. Only 9 miles away but 30 minute drive.
