I owned a small tavern in a tiny town in the early 90s near Durand MI. Several of the members of Grand Funk were living near there in their home town & played one night in the Bar. Very cool.
A not so cool related story of owning that bar was when I co- sponsored a softball team. The team won the league & had their picture taken for the news paper. My wife went for the photo shoot. It was at that time that wee learned the other business named "Platinum Products" was the manufacturing division of the local XXX drive in movie theatre called the Scene(aka Durand Dirties), owned by world renowned pornographer Harry Mahoney whose empire included Velvet Touches, Deja Vu, etc & most importantly to my new wife & her family, an adult toy manufacturer that was in the papers for being co-sponsor with my bar. Not surprisingly the outdoor big screen of porno was not well liked by parents of young kids & gave a lot of local men serious size envy seeing that stuff on 60 ft tall screens from the nearby highway. It closed soon after & was turned into a golf range for the golf course next door. Always hustling, even from his federal jail cell, Harry had specials advertised for a bucket of balls & a peep show for $10.

Lol. Technically, I am corporate home office W2, but 100% of income comes via overide of every life, annuity, auto, home, commercial, farm, etc. So, in reality I am co-sponsored by every varied person, race, gender, income level, political opinion, etc...
I will mark you undecided . . .
