Actually....i am more concerned that other states will Follow.

Ca. and NY have always been leader states....others may follow...

Is that why MA and TN has been the first on the block to take action. It would seem to me that CA and NY is behind the 8 Ball on H/C reform. Still think that the TN Reform will be the model most States will take in the long run.

Mass is manditory health insurance also a guaranteed issue state. The fine for not having health insurance is $200 much cheaper than any yearly premium. Also agents I know there get the same comissions as everywhere else. Don't worry yet.

Yes most definatly worry if only to work against these ideas. Maine is Guaranteed Issue, Community Rated with many state mandates. We have few viable options for IFP. There is Mega(yuck) Anthem Blue Cross which I can't find any way to respesent and the State Plan Dirigo which has been closed to new people for over a year. Commission in Maine a tiny. I would hate to see our system spread because agents don't sell much health here and people have little to no choice on health insurance
