So Americo sends me an email about my first app with them as follows:

We also have information in the file that this applicant has applied for life insurance with other companies within the past year. Please provide the disposition of all applications this client has applied for in the past (i.e. modified, declined, not taken by client), as well as the names of all companies in which coverage was applied for. According to our records, the applications that this client has applied for with other companies occurred on the following dates:

1. 07/13/2012
2. 07/16/2012
3. 02/06/2013
4. 02/08/2013
5. 04/11/2013

Now this lady had 5 policies when I got there and I'm reducing it down to 2. The 4/11 is the RNA app I just submitted and I think I know two of the others, but I doubt this lady will remember.

What exactly does Americo know, and if I give them the wrong info (on accident) how will that affect this app?

Just give them the best info you have. But this is heading in the wrong direction for you and the client with Americo. These are usually bad signs.

Take it as smoke signals.

Well I know two of the policies within the past year were Immed coverage.

She also had a few policies on a grandchild. Would Americo see those?

They found it in the MIB check. If this is SIWL and those were the typical FE small policies it should be no problem. It becomes a problem when you are writing larger face amounts. Due to income multiples

It was a 15K face. What does it matter? I could see if the other policies were denied/graded etc. but either way what does it matter?

They are more concerned with the total of all the policies, than the class ratings. I run into this a lot with my South East Asian clients. You're case should be no problem. These are little face amounts.

Well the total of all the policies was $33K. I upped it to a total of $38K splitting it between RNA and Americo...that is if everything goes through.
