American Amicable Quote

OOPS! I just notice that the original scenario, the client was a smoker!

That would change her premium to $95.04, (and then $.75 for the CR) just like JD said earlier.

For the 51 YO, F, smoker, it would be $64.36 total.

JD, no, CIR/CR, different carriers abbreviate it differently. Child Rider, Child Insurance Rider.

OK. They don't have a child rider. They have a grandchild/great grandchild rider.

It's $1 per month for $5000 per covered person. You can get 2 units per person now. So, $2/mo for $10,000.

It's a prety nice rider. The insured can buy up to $25000 coverage at age 19 without having to be underwritten. If the insured dies with the rider in force then the rider is paid up.

Richard,

I know you must be getting confused by now; I know I am! LOL

They do have the Grandchild Rider which JD just explained.

They also have the Children's Insurance Agreement (CIA). That's the one I had assumed you were talking about before. If not, my bad. This is probably not the rider you're really wanting and you should use JD's example of the Grandchild Rider.

I just looked at the Golden Solutions 4 page brochure that the career rep (I saw his business card) left with my client. It clearly said Child Rider up to $6000 or 2 units.

I had her with a non-med but fully underwritten whole life. We table D'ed her which actually put her higher than a simple yes/no SIWL policy. Had she been written table A normal, I would be $10 cheaper than AmAm. I knew this might happen if she ever got wind of another company. (she called in on a television commercial she said).

Thanks guys...

That must be something for just the telemarketers. I just dealt with a Pioneer American that was sold over the phone. They are also AmAm. I didn't even know they had an app they could do exclusively over the phone until I ran into this couple that had just purchased it. They had no riders or anything. Very easily replaced.

In looking at the app though it does have an option for a child rider and how many units. It would be about $5/mo for $6000 coverage.

That's something I never used on FE policies. I have used the grandchild rider.

You can get a children rider on AA- up to age 60 I believe, the unit decreases from 50-60

And there is also a grandchild rider up to 10,000
