An Interview with JD Easy

I'd love to hear a conversation with Greg, on closing the sale.
Putting the company aside, everything he's posted on here, I see him as the best closer on the forum.

Sounds like someone should make that happen.

Greg definitely agreed to it several months back. We played phone tag a few times but I didn't get back on it.

I'm going to get a phone recorder that will record with good quality and get back on him as well as the others. The JD interview was live with both of us sitting there. I don't think my recorder will sound as good recording a speaker phone so I need to buy a phone recorder.

I'll get several of them done soon.

A little off topic but...am I understanding this right? RNA offers a free ALB rider on all policies?

So does monumental it seems. Do all FE companies offer this?

What a great interview, thanks to both for the hot water they got in with the wives!

Keep 'em coming! Unrehearsed, with Newby chiming in to ask for clarifications.

It just blows my mind that JD does these numbers in the field only 2 days a week, tossing the Not Interested on Phones, not even knocking on the no-answers, and no active mining his book, referals, or keep in touch cards.

Just focus on people who want to see you, get higher close %, and probably higher retention.

Me? I just have to doorknock in between appointments. I get too much success from it, and to me it's fun. Nothing is more satisfying to me than the door knock sale.

The NI on Phone, I don't want to door knock, but I will if for nothing else than to put all effort before tossing it. And *only* if it's directly on my way, wherever I'm going. But if I've just had a few strike-outs I may pass this time. I feel more confident knocking a NI/PH after a sale...on my way to a set appt. That's when I can best muster up the needed combination of initial enthusiasim - without letting a likely rejection knock the wind out of my sails (hey buddy, i just did a sale and on my way to someone who *wants* to see me....YOUR loss) attitude when I get back in the car.

But I must say, the NI/PH + Door Knock = Sale. That's such a great feeling. Heck, recently I did a door knock in between two set appts. They greeted me kindly at the door, asked me in, and they had final expense on their mind. It wasn't until after the sale, when I was updating their info on my crm app, that I noticed that the lead was much older than I thought, they had shined me on a few times on the phone and couple door knocks long ago, and my most recent interaction was via an appointment setter who's notes said "Not Interested". :swoon:

but hey...if you can pull 6 appts a day with 80% show, 2 days a week, and close half+...you are hangin some paper!! :1cool:
