Another Introduction: Tech, Sales and Marketing Background

Hello All,

Looking forward to contributing to the insurance forum! Longtime lurker, and have picked up many valuable things here over the past couple of years.

Some background:

As a former agent, I did an enormous amount of internet marketing and lead generation. I was asked regularly by other agents for help, so I did. I quickly saw the market was going the way of the internet and started building myself systems and processes to accommodate it. The interest in those systems got
noticed and I decided to move my business towards supporting other agents as well, and exited insurance production personally. My background is 100% sales and marketing.

Over a year ago, I started calling on these agents for feedback on an idea I had. I wanted to create a quoter that was unlike what was on the market. I wanted to know users pain points. By committee, we planned, built and tested our baby. More on this later—don't want to be called a spammer!

I am here to provide feedback on; internet lead generation (ppc, seo, media, email), sales automation, email marketing, cross selling etc. Instead of lurking, I will be contributing. Ask away!

Looking forward to meeting some great people, and eventually establishing some mutually beneficial business relationships!

After a quick once over at the ninjaquoter site, I like that flexible designs idea. I'm wanting something like this for when I build a site in the future.

How many FE insurance quotes can you generate off the internet on a monthly basis?

Thanks for the feedback, we're definitely putting a big focus on flexibility for the look and feel of the quoters. We'd love to get your feedback after you've had a chance to use our quoters.

We do have FE products loaded, but we haven't moved forward with them yet. I have worked alongside FE focused agents, and they tell me that the internet really isn't the best place for those leads. I can tell you though, more traditional term internet marketers like myself have generated a ton of FE prospects thru non-med focused marketing materials/concepts.

Are you going to charge different subscription rates for the term/GUL and the SIWL/WHole Life? Or all inclusive.

I've been hearing the same about the internet leads but I still like the idea. Anyway, how long is the free trial for? Once you launch, will you continue to offer a free trial period for new customers? would you do discounts on quarterly or annual payments?

No, we will keep them the same. All the features, analytics etc. of the FE quoters would be the same as our traditional quoters. Our business model is that we'll charge more for additional productivity features, but not for the types of quotes our quoters return. You can get an idea of what I'm talking about here (ninjaquoter.com/pricing), although keep in mind this isn't a complete list of features.

Can an agent and an assistant both use one license in the same office? Same IP, Not sure what a fricken IP is.

Congratulations and all the best in success and professional excellence to you, "Ninja". Your posts remind me of the road that my business partner and I travelled at the beginning of the 1990s here in the Great North (Canada), rapidly and solidly growing and expanding to become the leading independent supplier of life insurance and related products' quotations, information and research software and services in this country with thousands of happy and loyal customers.

Starting off as just two people with a desire to provide unmatched excellence, we have now grown to become a firm employing over a dozen professionals in their respective fields. I'm glad to be able to say that even though our firm and our products have become widely known as the leaders in this field in Canada we have maintained our attitude of relating to every customer as if he or she was our only customer.

From what I've seen on your site as well as in your postings at this forum, I get the impression that there is much similarity between your and our attitude and vision. So, again, I wish you all the best and success in your venture.

Ami

Very kind words, thank you Ami! We look forward to constant innovation, not stagnation. Hopefully we, as a community with our users, can get insurance ownership back to where it was in the 50s.
