I think that the insurance industry as a whole has too many people trying to get the same business. The Market is saturated with new companies trying to make a buck.
I run two call centers both in the US & Internationally and can confirm that the FCC and TCPA (telecommunications protection act) states that you must notify the callee or lead that the call is being monitored or recorded. However this is only true on a state by state basis, for example you must get an ok to proceed from anyone in Pennsylvania.
I think that Jay and partners are doing a great thing, it allows new agents that are just getting in the game the oportunity to work with successful people in the industry. I also believe that competition and over saturation will always create an issue with people throwing false statements in order to gain more business.
Think about it, if you are new to the industry or trying to get back in you will have to run through a ton of hoops in order to get started. find leads, liscenses and a mountain of things just to get going. Ofcourse it will take some investement to get started just like any other business except these guys are willing to reimburse you for that initial investment.
Leads are expensive to generate sell and use, I have been generating leads for almost 7 years and can tell you most people spend more then $400 just to get started with leads, that does not include training or coaching.
I offer a "setting appointments" seminar that runs $1200.00 these guys are offering the same type of program for less than half that cost plus providing leads and it is continuous mine is a one time shot.
I say take advantage of their offer, if they can get you fresh leads and some ground to start on do it. Everyone wants something for free and this is the only way I have seen it to be actually possible.
Pay the $365.00 or whatever and get your leads and take advantage of any training they can offer. These guys are obviously doing something right, why not learn what you can.
