Do you mean Stonebridge? They're part of Trannie. They have a direct division that I believe is pretty cheap.

Do you mean StoneBridge? If so, aren't they the same as TransAmerica?.. If that be the case, if you can't beat their rates, you need some new companies. Give an example of an actual rate that you are trying to compare with.

If the policies are 2 years old they took them before the rate increase and it will be tough to beat now.

If they are new then maybe they are part of this captive deal these guys mentioned

Carefully examine Stonebridge policies. Many of them are sold through the mail to JC Penney customers. They come in a lot of flavors, but many of them are certificates on a group policiy and the rate is not guaranteed.
