Anyone Know Anything About Reserve National Insurance

I just spoke to the owner of the policy and told him my feelings. He is going to try and get a benefits summary or something to that order so we can flesh out what he has.

It caught his attention when I asked him what coverage he would have if he got in a wreck, or God forbid, was diagnosed with cancer or some other serious disease.

I forgot one other tenant:

Customer: "how much is this coverage?"
Agent: "That would be $256.48/month"
Customer: "oh, I'll get back with you on that."
Agent: "well, what had you budgeted for health coverage?"
Customer: "I was thinking more like $50 or $75 a month because that is what I paid when I was employed..."
Agent: "have you looked into COBRA-- that would be very expensive."
Customer: "No, I am actually going to wait and see what the national healthcare thing works out to be."
Agent: "what if you get sick before then?"
Customer: "We'll just go to the county hospital..."
Agent: mutters in the car leaving, "dumbazz..."

I did a little research online. RNL does not even offer a Major Med, its a Hospital Surgical plan with a schedule of benefits. Very dangerous for your client if he ever goes into the hospital.

Thanks, I see the danger there also, hopefully he will have sense enough to realize the same.
