Just seen on godaddy they have a way to convert your website into a mobile device optimized web page. i set it up but notice if use any kind of transparency the background bleeds thru but looks like good way to get into the mobile market.

you guys are not interested in mobile marketing when even the president of the united states is hooked on his blackberry. i posted this because i havent wanted to make sure my agency showed up good in mobile phones. maybe im behind in the times but i noticd my agency web sites didnt show up as well on mobile phones. when i finally got my website i thought ready for mobile phones so i was wondering what other agents experience has been with this.

Problem w/ text message marketing is you need opt in compliance. Unless its "bluetooth messaging" check it out. Reason is bluetooth is free and customers don't get charged

The OP isn't talking about SMS or Text - he's speaking of his website being seen via mobile devices like droids, blackberry's, etc.

In order for your website to be seen properly on mobile devices - is has to be made to adapt to the devices, while also still conforming to a laptop or desktop.

I think anyway . . .

You can actually use this website to see how your insurance website looks on an iPhone:

iphonetester.com

Some are REALLY ugly, and there are ways to create a website optimized for viewing on mobile phones.

I didnt realize how big a diffrence in the way a website shows on phones vs computer so thought it was worthwhile to look at. Thanks for the iphone link
