Appointment with Bankers Life?

What's your Vector, Victor? (Sorry I couldn't resist that line from Airplane. It's late and I'm tired.....)

Vector is a system where IMO's and carriers report unpaid debit balances from agents. Once the debt is paid it can be removed from the vector database. Some carriers will not advance you if you have a vector hit.

I recruited a few agents from BL when their rates jumped. I'll say this much for them, they are the best producers I have. They learned how to work but they are probably in the minority. Most agents will fail no matter where they go, just like any other business.

Yes they said the company background check for appointment was done at their expense. Would this be a problem?

Do not license with another company until you have submitted in writing your resignation ...

Agreed. You do not want to get appointed with another company until you have in writing that you have resigned from Banker's Life and Casualty. Banker's can (and will) come after you for breech of contract for getting appointed with other companies if you get appointed at the same time that you're appointed with Banker's.

Breech of contract? LOL. He stated that he didn't sell anything with Banker's, so what would they come after him for. Do you think they can sue him because he chose not to work for them? It won't quite work that way brother.

^^^ Lol, you have a point, as he hasn't sold anything with them.

Either way, if he's worried about it, an email to his recruiter would take all of 30 seconds and end any worries that he's having.
