Absolutely true. ASAP quotes says they only have a percentage of leads telemarketed. They don't say what percentage.

As for me, I've turned off all internet leads and am looking for other avenues for lead generation.

Hi everyone! We generate FE leads pre-qualified as having a bank account for advance comm. and better persistency! We can dial 10-1000 phone numbers per minute with a pre-recorded script talking about the high cost of funerals, family responsible for paying the funeral home, we have a State Approved Plan that they can enroll in, etc. The script also says to qualify "they must have a checking or savings account"! The person called can press 2 to be removed from call list (Not a lead) or press 1 to be contacted by a licensed agent to enroll. If the prospect presses 1 they go to a digital mailbox and are instructed to leave their name, best time to call them back, etc. If they start cussing and fussing about being called they are NOT a lead. If they do not say anything they are a FREE lead. If they leave their name, etc. they are a PAID lead. These paid leads are $25 each. These leads are sold ONLY ONCE to an agent! Why do we make these available to you? Very simple...We are in N.C. and only work NC leads. We can dial lots of other states that we are not in. Some states are not able to be dialed because of "state specific Do Not Call Laws" that go beyond the Federal Do Not Call Laws. Leads can be faxed or emailed to any location. Perfect for the agent that sells over the phone across their state, or managers that need leads for their agents. We can dial across your state or just a particular area code. If you only want numbers in certain zip codes we can do that also, but we have to filter our dialed data further which costs us more. These zip code specific BANK DRAFT leads are $30 each. Simple.. Wait and see what happens EXACTLY in Sept. From that point forward numbers to be called by dialer will be numbers that are generated from lead vendors, where people have indicated that they do not mind being called about different offers. These are generated in mag subscriptions, surveys, sweepstakes ads, etc. etc. So you see...should be no problem.

I seems odd to me that I would sit by the phone waiting with my thumb up my butt for the phone to ring and I would be paying someone else to call people for me. If I am going to be sitting by the phone anyway, why wouldn't I just make the calls myself? LOL.

What if you only had to hold your thumb in your butt for 5 minutes or so at a time.

We have previously sold excess leads to people and a general rule is Hot Key live leads are worth far more than leads we sold 2 maybe 3 times over. The results were far better in leads per sales ratio with live leads and normally worth far more to the company! I guess it depends of people budgets and facilities available.

I'm testing out Insuranceleads.coms hot transfers for life right now....As the program was explained to me...if based on my filters they can generate 500+ leads was not explained in what time period then they could do hot transfers so during the 2 hour time period (the period I was willing to try the transfers) they supposedly call through the lead lists and when they reach a human and verify that it is the same person that requested a quote they are asked if they are willing to speak to a licensed agent now.

So if this program works as explained (I don't have a lot of trust in the lead vendors) then they are calling leads I have not purchased yet and transfer to me people they reach willing to speak with an agent during the time period specified.

As I mentioned I am just now trying out the program and will report back if these leads are any better than buying the crap I get from them now.

They are charging $5 more than the normal lead...I have a couple of filters on my leads bringing them to $15/each and the hot transfers to $20 per lead.

Like I said if it works as it was explained to me...I am paying $5 more than normal to talk to someone without having to go through who knows how many leads to reach someone.
