Are Primerica Agents Allowed to Sell for other companies?

30% ? Your kidding me ? No wonder 97% fail the first yr .
Yesss 30% and is not that somebody told me
..I went there and I got that 30% for the first client I submitted with them ...
this is because “ the rest” of the comission was divided and gave it up to 3 or more of the upline ( the one who recruited me ,and the one up him , and the one up him ,
and so on .. )

It’s virtually impossible for an independent agent who pays all his exp’s such lead cost , car and gas cost , health ins , retirement, full 15.3% fica tax, maybe office space and other exp’s to make a real living making under 100% commish . But it’s the dream of recruiting and having 100’s of guys under you .

they can sell annuities from the annuity companies they partner with.

Yes. But also they can sell ALL term policies ... and all products of all companies . There Are NO restrictions.. they don’t cancel the appointed ,,.. I did it and too many others agent did it. no one got canceled

But your commission check came from those other companies, not Primerica.

Can somebody pick to only have the RVP contract and not recruit? If somebody just wants to be a producer and not recruit for example.

In the Facebook group, I've got a couple of guys who are quite professional and are truly doing the client a service replacing the underfunded policies they are coming across (usually underfunded IULs). I've been impressed by them. (Hey, if the agent screwed up, they get to lose that sale and client. And the Primerica guys can help their client be put into a better situation than they were in before - even if it IS more expensive term.)

In addition, I have no doubt that they are allowed to sell health insurance and other products that aren't in their "core" line-up.

Unfortunately there are a lot of badly written IUL's out there, where it does make sense to replace them with a term.
