I would say they will give it one more year with the less comprehensive plan list and probably a smaller network to see if they can eliminate their losses-if not, they will be gone.

It looks like the "Assurant Health" unit could be jettisoned, and the rest of the company would be better off.

I know, I hate it when my Assurant client calls complaining that they got to keep their doctor, and can see any doctor/specialist they want to without a referral, inside the largest PPO network in the country, and take any drug they want on the largest open formulary.
