Assurity

Assurity was not bad. Like any carrier they had some strong suits and an equal amount of weaknesses (underwriting seemed sluggish and lots of changes). I had a direct appointment with them for years. They cancelled my appointment for non production after about 4yrs and I was okay with that.

Assurity would be your choice then. I think they still have the ROP term. They were also very easy to work with the times I wrote business with them.

Cinci life is a good option that fits that description, minus the DI and CI. I think they still have ROP term as well. Their WL goes to small face amounts but its non-par, still decent CV for the price. I think Wino currently has a contract with them.

One thing about Cincinatti Life.
I tried to get a contract directly with them.
They had a property/casualty agent in town that blocked them from
giving me a contract.
Even though I am only life/health licensed.

So, they offered me a low-ball commission rate knowing
I would turn it down.

I've heard of that happening as well.

I am curious what the low-ball commission was, though, b/c they're not really a high comp carrier to begin with.

Ray for me the commission was 85% on WL
80% on 30 year term
less for the other term plans.

I wanted them because at that time, and it may well still be.
You could write smokeless tobacco as non-smoker.
Being in Alabama we have a lot of good ole boy business owners
and professionals that dip.

That comp isn't bad from what I've seen out there.

Pru and Lincoln take those folks too...and Lincoln pays really nice comp on term as well.

I would like one company that I can use to write younger blue collar folks. Decent Par WL down to smaller amounts and a reasonably competitive ROP term. Maybe DI and CI. I won't write enough to justify trying to carry several companies. .

You just described Assurity.

Those comp levels are essentially "street" comp levels for Cinci.

You could find a GA that already has an agency contract and appoint under them. The comp will be around the same as what you listed though... or less. Cinci is a low comp carrier compared to others like LFG, Assurity, etc.

Ameritas does not have non-med term, which is what wino was talking about.

They do not require parameds up to I think $500k and 60 and under. Just health questions, mib, rx and drivers license check.

Their IUL is also non-med.
