That doesnt sound too bad for a new FE agent....I mightve done if I had known about it! In hindsight, Im glad I didnt, but thats hindsight....as long as u can go 1099 whenever u are ready & get a much higher commish, why not start like that?

Mah?? You listening? LoL

Lol...ummm I'm already assigned with companies I like.

Yep, Roseville was cool. Corporate's in a nice building, with some room to grow as needed. Didn't meet Brian Pope, but Rich, JM and Chris were the three who led the training (same as in the prior classes).

Advice for someone starting in a couple weeks >> it's a different experience being W2 vs 1099, so I think if you're 1099 you'd approach it much like any other indy role. If you're W2 like me, however, work hard to get your first four deals submitted asap, so you get your salary and hire date as earlier as possible. Also, don't be afraid to knock on doors for tough-to-reach leads or 'B' leads -- it's what turned my good month into a great month in April.

Norton, I'm looking at getting started doing the same thing you're doing now. I'd like to chat, send me an email at [email protected]. Thanks.
