Auto Blogging Hurts Seo?

Old thread, i dont auto blog but why do associations and carrier give you news feed to use on your website or facebook if you get penalized for it!

im trying to get organic results and carriers giving content doesn't help much if i get penalized for unoriginal and duplicate content.

Some people like having content as filler and/or a feed like a RSS feed to help their site have recent content on it. That said, copying and pasting content that already exists is a virtual guarantee to take a hit.

Autoblogging used to work well and to a small degree it still does, but not on a site you want to keep for years.
