We have talked a lot about the DNC List and AutoDialers and how they are not allowed to call your number if you are on the dnc list.

But what is really being done to stop them?

My cell phone number gets called about 4 times a day from 503-468-5227 an computer trying to sell me a Home Protection Alarm System. I've press 1 to opt out and even had a live person 1 time and told him to remove me.

When I google the 503-468-5227 tons of people are complaining about it also.

We have all filed a complainted with donotcall.gov

Reporting someone on donotcall.gov seems like a joke to me.

Is there a way to get them in trouble? We keep talking about auto dialers and dnc list, but how does one go after people like this?

Call your carrier and have the number blocked. That's what you've done to avoid taking my calls.

Nothing ever gets done to stop this crap.

And sometimes when you call back the number it's just a disconnected number.

They are just dialing numbers. I dont list my cell phone number anywhere. They dont even say my name when calling.

If you have a droid phone, you can download MrNumber from the app store, and then it will automatically block numbers that you tell it to block... free app, works great!

Very doubtful it is a random dialing of your number. You filled something out somewhere and your number was sold. I see a lot of this.

As someone previously said, call your carrier and have the number blocked. It's the easiest thing for you at this point.
