Just curious what folks would say is the average final expense sale is in terms of premium and face amount?

As Newby said it's a number without much substance. Among the 200 or so agents with EFES the average is around $45/mo.
I'm a t a personal best this year of $67/mo. average. But, just this week I did a $65/mo, a $30/mo., a $35/mo., a $98/mo., a $75/mo. and a $150/mo. That's a $75/mo average for this week, but as you can see, the premiums are all over the place.
Who the hell wants to be average anyway?
It is only relevant when setting goals to determine how many calls, interviews, sales, etc. you need to make to achieve your desired income level. An agent that averages $400AP per sale is going to have to make more calls than an agent that averages $600AP (assuming same commission rate)
Your averages sales do not make you "average".. I would dare say if last week's sales are what you average each week during the course of a year. your average is far above "average"

I said my average for this year is $67/mo. Last year was previous best at $59/mo.
I average a little more than $4000 per week in ap, so this week was a bit above average.
But it doesn't matter what someone else's average is. Once you have done this a while your numbers are what your numbers are. I've been one to track calls, so I don't follow your reasoning there.
I have a weekly ap goal and I do whatever it takes to reach that goal. My upline manager uses appointments as a goal. He constantly urges agents to have 10 to 12 face to appointments every week and the production will follow. I'm sure he's right about that, but it's just not what I do.
