BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

Everyone I know who has been vaccinated got Moderna.

My dad gets his second Moderna tomorrow. He's 78 and has pulmonary fibrosis. I hope the second shot goes like the first: He usually has days with very difficult breathing, strings of sleepless nights, chronic fatigue and weakness. Since the day after he got the first shot, he's been sleeping like a baby, hasn't labored for breath once, and hasn't had to use his walker to get around the house.

I'm pretty sure there must have been bacon in that Moderna shot.

I'm no doctor, but that seems like the only logical conclusion to me.

Either that or my dad is the true "patient zero" for covid and it took 7 years for it finally to breakout and spread around the world, and somehow the Moderna shot cured him. His pulmonary fibrosis is "idiopathic," which I think means that the doctors have no idea why in the world he developed it so they feel like idiots ;)

But, yes, I'm pretty sure it's bacon.

it is ironic you mention that. About 1 year before Covid, my 18 year old son had all the symptoms of a heart attack while we were on vacation. spent days in hospital & discovered he was suffering from myocarditis, but tests for about 50 illnesses were sent to Mayo & all came back negative. A virus had caused an immune response in his body that caused the myocarditis in his heart. had he been on the Lacrosse field like he was the weekend before or been on the football field for the 1st week of practice the week later, he would have likely died. No virus ever found. But 12 months into Covid, he has had all 5 college roomates get covid, he didnt. His girlfriend & her 4 family members all got it after having Christmas dinner together & 2 days later all eating at a restaurant in an igloo, but my son didnt. About 10 guys on his Lacrosse team got it, but he didnt. The only thing that Drs are saying is that he may have had such a strong response to a prior Covid or even Sars that has built up his T cells and/or antibodies. maybe this shot has boosted your fathers immune response to a level that is fighting off his pulminary fibrosis

I can't tell you how happy that would make me, my friend!

And I am very happy for you and your son and your family that whatever tried to get him tried at a moment when your son had the best chance of beating it.

It isn't always easy being human.
