Bad Experience with Final Expense Bootcamp.com

:err:might been a bit harsh last post my bad, to the 2 agents debating if i was spamming , well I was and if you look at the time stamp you will see it was 3-5 am Seattle time so i was board and excited about the appointments setting co i found. not marketing for this co, but if it works out will refer. before you make a statement look at my postings and time on here, should have PM me if you wanted to ask me something . remember we are here to help each other , this business is hard enough. thanks
ps you been on here for like 5 years like me you should know better.:err:

Why would you come here to "help each other"? That's not what this is for. You've been on here long enough to know that by now. Any reference to anything that might look like you're trying to offer a service or promote another service is highly looked down on. ESPECIALLY buying leads? You're suppose to just drum up your own to be a big dog or work for a select few IMO's. Never, ever buy leads anywhere else? ;)

Sorry. Had to be a funny guy this early in the morning.

Your telling me I should know better than to ask you how many times and how many posts you were planning on posting the exact same post in reviving how many posts. What would be wrong with posting the information in 1 thread it would then be the most recent thread in that forum or starting a new thread specific to your post.

Some of us read most of the threads with new activity so just think what we were thinking seeing the exact same post over and over and in many cases it was the only update to different threads meaning all we were reading is your post over and over.

You might note I did not accuse you of spamming or anything else. I asked 1 question of how many threads did you plan to post that in. I am all for sharing of ideas and companies (though you might want to be careful sharing providers as they get more advisors using them they tend to grow and change as not able to continue to provide the same value.)

Wrong once again. Not "funny" either. Most agents do come here for the help and to give help.

I know I have learned mujch from this forum and it has helped my business. The ones that come here to recruit are the problem. They are also the ones that cry the loudest about the forum.

Agents come here for help. Agents come here to give back because they have been helped. Agents come here to be part of a community of agents. And agents come here to recruit. Three out of 4 get what they want from this forum and enjoy it. The one group doesn't but they sure whine the most.

I don't think anyone thinks that posting the same thing over and over is helping anyone. At least the moderators didn't think so did they?

I've got to completely agree with jd here. The vast majority of us joined in order to learn from those with experience and share whatever little knowledge we have to offer. I wouldn't be nearly as successful, in this business, as I am if it were not for this forum and the members that post here.
A quick example. I was meeting with a gentleman yesterday to discuss his final expense policy. Final expense is not my area of expertise, but I was able to use the selling techniques given over by jd (mostly) and others to be proficient enough to close it and make a rather large commission.

I'm willing to guess that 80-90% of the new agents have bad exeperiences, judging by the turnover. Not just with one company or the other, I'm guessing it's across the board. We have a huge turnover problem in this industry. I think what happens is this: the agents do not really understand the "job" or career going into it, then when they go in, they realize what it is, and it's not what they thought it would be.

No attitude. I really was just applauding the response from my counter part who chase's me down in most every thread I'm in like a Fatal Attraction.

Such passion he has.

I released an agent to Shannon once and he actually called to thank me for that. We had a nice conversation and I thought he was quite the stand up guy for doing that.

During our conversation, I did mention that I would like the same courtesy in return and he fully agreed. It wasn't 3 weeks later that an agent wanted to switch over to me and Shannon refused it. He wouldn't even return the agent's calls or emails.

From that and a few other things that I've "heard" from various sources, I have my own thoughts about Shannon now.

Well I was going to go with Shannon's Company but our last conversation made me reconsider. I don't like having to cancel all my contracts to go work anywhere if that is the case I will just stay independent and work through whatever. Yeah I have started to hear a few things this week about him....wow
