Also, do these books recommend specific things like scripting, or are they more inspirational? Ran into a lot of that inspirational **** with Real Estate...Done with that.

Insurance Commander is a how to to do commercial P&C.

As far as general salesmanship goes I'm on a bit of a Grant Cardone kick. I have two of his audiobooks that I listen to throughout the day, but the actual books I thought were easy reads and nice to be able to bookmark and highlight things. 10x Rule is a favorite right now.

The Greatest Salesman in the World, by Og Mandino

about 8$ and every major bookstore will have a copy

Takes about 2 hours to read on average.

The sales secrets it talks about are what separate the winners from the loosers.

Power Position Your Agency by Troy is a great book

IMHO, Troy Korgasden's book is a Must read for any P&C agent. He has others materials since it came out...but it is full of tools, policy & procedure type stuff that no other book I've read comes close to. I've used it myself as well as in training agents since I first read it back in 2001.

have you ever seen the workbook he created, they gave us one when i was at farmers, THAT was the best thing ever!

I cant find a new one at all.
