Seriously, though, @Newby makes a good point. At least some areas in the south seem to have an over abundance of FE agents. In my DFW area you can't swing a cat by the tail without hitting another FE agent!

College football,especially the SEC !
Great beachesand mountains not very far away
Mild winters and friendly folks
Butter beans,cornbread,sweet tea

For most all of us,if not all,living in the south just means more.
