Best PC To Purchase

If you do not like parallels then use VMWare Fusion. It is a good software.

I'm not knocking either one, it's just the notion of running another OS inside of an OS. For the cost of a low-end PC, you basically have an entirely knew computer vs trying to squeeze everything into another system.

Honestly, just about anything you get above the base models is going to likely be excessive. Computing technologys has com ea long way. I got a laptop for life insurance three years ago for $400 and it's more than capable even now. You want something with multiple cores and ideally an intel processor (but not a celeron). At least 4 gb of ram is good, but the more the better.

Won't work for most insurance carriers.

Josh is right. It doesn't take much computing power to run insurance apps.

I'm starting to really like Epson printers better than HP. Especially when you call for support.

Have used a Canon MX 310 printer for 3 years. Not one instance of a problem. and, I have saved a bundle by refilling
ink myself. It is an all-in-one and only has 2 cartiridges.

I build my own PCs, but prefer Lenovo laptops. I found Intel mainboards to be solid... I will not build another offshore mobo. If I were to buy a PC rather than build my own, I would consider Lenovo. As a matter of fact, I bought a Lenovo PC for my sister a couple of years ago. Cheap, but reliable and full of feature choices. Custom order yourself one. It's less hassle than building it yourself, but not as much fun.
